Tax Office Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Monday through Friday.
It is imperative that the Tax Office have in writing any change of address or change to a post office box to ensure delivery of all future bills.
---Tax Bill Delay - Due to the delay in getting the Borough 2009 from the State of New Jersey, Tax Bill mailing will be delayed. Bills will be mailed out the week of July 27th.
Due to this delay, taxes will be due on September 2, 2009. No additional grace period will be given. If you have any questions please contact the Tax Collector's Office at 973-410-5315.
For your convenience, there is a lock box located at the Police Entrance to the Borough Hall for use as a drop-off for Tax and Water payments. No cash should be put in-only checks with the proper payment stub.
SEPARATE ENVELOPES MUST BE USED FOR EACH PAYMENT MADE (i.e. taxes, water, sewer).
CHECKS SHOULD NOT BE STABLED TO THE STUB.
If you mortgage has been paid off or if you are assuming your tax payments, no further bill or notification will be sent for the current tax bill year ending June 30th, 2009. Tax bills are sent out only once each year. For information regarding your quarterly payments, please call the Tax Office at (973) 410-5315.
